Today’s Daily30 post is inspired by an anonymous question I received on my Ask.fm account, and since I’ve left it unanswered for more than a month, I figured that it deserves a pretty solid answer in the form of a 30-minute blog post.
What’re the things that make you happy?
I forgot to put up a poll for today’s topic, so here’s a quick, random one that I can think of for tonight. This is inspired by so many posts on the internet where people share letters to their past self, and I thought of doing one myself too, of what I would tell my younger self if I could go back in time (to 8 years ago, to be specific)
(oh crap now you know my age).
This is 16-yo me, who had just recently discovered the joy of smiling with her teeth showing. And yes, she was wearing braces at that time.
This post is dedicated to my fellow juniors who will be graduating soon (in a few months), as well as to anyone out there who have just recently graduated (congratulations, by the way!), who will be graduating soon (woohoo, you’re almost there!) and to anyone who’s probably planning on what they need / want to do after graduating from college / university.
Early disclaimer: Anything written here are purely from my own experiences and thoughts, and I do not guarantee that this is a bullet-proof way of doing things, nor am I saying that you have to follow everything that is written here. Feel free to read through with an open mind and take in whatever that is applicable to you.
First of all, I apologize for skipping today’s topic of Fresh Grads Tips (as chosen by voters on Twitter). Since I’ve just been promoted to a new ‘position’, I figured that today is a special day that deserves its own post.
