Assalamualaikum,
It’s been almost a month (?) since my last update. I last wrote this entry the night before my first Statistics exam. And, guess what? My second Statistics exam is in less than 48 hours away. Yep. Seems like stress & procrastination are the only way I would even update this blog.
Oh well.
Hmm. So, what happened since? Let’s see…
It was fun, I suppose. I mean, the main reason I went was because Nazran is there, and I wanted to meet him. The 9hr drive there was cruel though, but I’m thankful that Rafiq (above) agreed to accompany me and be my co-driver (since Fara & Alya have never drove and are not confident of driving in the US). I still owe Rafiq a thank-you meal though…
Coach Bo would donate $1 for each student who attended the event, $10 for every free throw made, and $1000 for every half-court shot made. I made a free throw, but didn’t get the half-court shot. Izham did, however, get that half-court shot (though he missed the bloody free throw), so yeah, he got three pairs of basketball tickets to some of the Badger games. Which was awesome.
Oh, and I finally get a picture with Zak and Nigel. 😛
And seriously, two months without seeing him sucks. I mean, it sucks real bad. And now I can’t wait for the end of November when he’ll come to visit for Thanksgiving (I still don’t get it how other universities either have a ‘Fall break’ or a week long Thanksgiving break, when UW-Madison only has a four-day weekend for Thanksgiving with NO bloody Fall break at all. I mean, seriously UW? Do you not care for your students’ mental health at all? -.-
I don’t plan on doing much shopping this year though. I mean, his mum would definitely ask us to help buy some handbags and stuff for his aunts and all, and I think my mum would do the same (although she said that she has enough bags already, but really, who would say no to more bags, right?). So yeah, we’ll see what she says in a month’s time. Adek and a few friends from RIT might be coming as well, and on that Friday, Safiah, Aiman & I would probably go to Chicago with them for a day’s trip. That is, if Adek doesn’t bail out on us again, like he did for our winter trip -.-
…
So, yeah, that’s basically it.
Did a few road trips to meet friends here and there, and don’t forget the exams in between. I wouldn’t write much on my exams, since I absolutely hate them, so yeah, we’ll leave it at that.
Well, it’s 2:00am already. I’m heading to bed soon, since I have tutoring in the morning. Until next time (which I don’t know when), stay awesome people. 🙂
