36,000ft in the air.

Assalamualaikum,

36000ft in the air.

554mph.

2 hr 57 mins left go to.

Well, by the time you’re reading this, I’d already be on the ground, probably sleeping well in my bed in Madison, WI. But as I type this on my phone, I’m currently on my way back to the United States, on board a Qatar Airways plane from Doha to Chicago O’Hare International Airport.

It’s been a long journey for us (Aiman & I). We arrived at KLIA around midnight on Sunday / Monday (technically Monday but you get what I mean). He arrived a few minutes earlier than me. After checking in, we bid farewell to our families & straight away went through security. We ate a late supper at Burger King before heading to our gate, C36.

Our flight from Kuala Lumpur to Doha, Qatar was scheduled to depart at 3am. It took us around 7 hours to reach Hamad International Airport, Doha. I slept for like four hours, and then ate some food & back to sleep. (I tend to sleep a lot on flights)

Our transit in Doha was short, only 3 hours. We boarded our plane, bound to Chicago O’Hare. The flight was scheduled to take about 13 hours 20 minutes or so, and we now have a little less than three hours to go.

One thing I hate about travelling is the fact that I can’t sit still for long. Although I usually spend most of my flights sleeping, whenever I slept too much, I feel like walking around & stretching my legs. But I can’t do that too much ’cause I sit in a window seat and I don’t want to disturb the girl sitting at the aisle seat (or Aiman, who is sitting next to me). So, yeah. Here I am, typing away a blog post that I’m not even sure if I’d post this up (but if you’re reading this, then it obviously means that I posted it up anywayz).

Anyhowz.

I don’t know what to write about or stuff. I at the start of the flight, I watched Anastasia (again) for a bit, and then fell asleep for a while. Aiman woke me up when they served breakfast, and after eating, I fell back asleep. I think I slept for about four-five hours then, ’cause when I woke up, we had another 7+ hours to go. I badgered Aiman, and we watched Home on his tablet together. I then continued to watch around five episodes of Kuroko no Basuke, and tried to go back to sleep but failed.

So. Here I am. Again.

Dude. Why am I repeating the same things? -.-

Screw this shit.

Oh. They just announced that they’d be serving lunch soon. Great. I’m super hungry. I should’ve bought some duty free chocolates at Doha but instead we bought Godiva’s Truffeletta (or whatever they call it) (it was filling, yes, but not after ten hours, definitely.

Hell I think I’m writing rubbish. Oh well. I don’t even know if you’re reading this far, but if you are, kudos to you! I want to send you a postcard from the States. That is, if you want one (mostly because I’m bored and my friend(s) complained that I never send postcards anymore). So if you want one, send me your name & address via a comment, and I’ll send one your way.

Alright, I’m going to end my rambling here, for your sake. I don’t think anything I write here makes any sense anywayz so I better stop boring you to death. I’m off to watch Interstellar (mainly because I’ve never watched it before and I’m bored) so until next time people! Stay awesome ☺
