Assalamualaikum,
There isn’t much to write and share about this year’s Eid, as usual. I took far less pictures this year than I did last year, but that’s most probably because I’m just too lazy to bring around my huge-ass camera (I’m thinking of buying a new and smaller one later, but that’s just a plan for now). And considering how my phone suddenly died (well, not suddenly, considering how I threw it on the floor when I was in a bad mood, thanks to PMS), I didn’t have my phone around for pictures and whatnot.
So, yeah. Nothing much to say and share anyway, since it’s basically the same every year. Visiting relatives back in Melaka. There’s no cousins’ bowling session this year since all of them had to go somewhere else by the second day of Eid, so only our family was left in Melaka. We came back to Shah Alam on Wednesday, and today (Thursday), I went to One Utama with my little brother to visit the Samsung Service Center.
I was hoping it wouldn’t be much of a hassle to get my phone fixed, since I really did not want to spend much money on buying a new phone (hey, I love my Galaxy Note 2, and I don’t really want to change to Note 3 or Galaxy S5). Alhamdulillah, it was only the battery that was having problems, so I went and bought a new battery for my phone, and all is well.
I also had the chance to meet one of my old school friends from primary school, so it was a productive day. I haven’t met Aarif since, what, 2010, I think? I asked him to come along to OU since he lived nearby and, well, we were supposed to meet up during Ramadan with a bunch of others, but that didn’t happen, so I wanted to meet him at least once.
So, yeah, that’s my Eid story, for now. I’m heading out with my cousins tomorrow for a girls’ day out (Ju’on 3 and Laman Seni 7), and a bunch of family and friends are coming over this weekend for some makan-makan at our house. So it’d be a hectic weekend, but I’m looking forward to it. 🙂
Hope your Eid goes well, and, Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri, Maaf Zahir & Batin. 🙂
