Assalamualaikum,
So… I made it. I’m done. Four years of college, and I’m finally done. I am officially a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Actuarial Science and a Certificate of Education and Educational Services.
It is finally over.
I can’t believe that the last four years has come to an end. No more attending classes or lectures, no more staying up late writing papers at the last minute, no more working the overnight shifts at College Library, no more answering calls and emails at the Admissions Office, no more skipping classes, no more hanging out by Lake Mendota, no more speaking about Malaysia to high school students, no more walking up the dreaded Bascom Hill, no more…
Well, I can go on and on about this.
But, of course, this is all if I actually end my formal education and start working straight away, or if I abandon my dreams of attending graduate school – which I still might, in the future. We’ll see where life takes me.
But, yes, I am finally and officially done with my undergraduate college career, and now it is time for me to get a hold of myself, and be a proper adult.
No more sleeping late and waking up late, no more skipping breakfast (or meals, for that matters), no more putting things off or being lazy and all that shit. It’s actually time to start thinking about where I want to go and who I want to be in this world.
Though, at this point of time, I have yet to actually figure out where my next step will be. I’ve gotten a few job offers, and declined a couple of them. Still waiting to hear back from a couple more, but also thinking about just putting everything on hold and just enjoy what life has to bring in the next few months for me. I’ve spent four years away from home, only going back home for a couple of months during the summer break, so I figured I could spend some time with my grandmothers and parents and perhaps enjoy some quality times with my cats. Â Oh, and not to mention, I have that thing coming up in July to prepare for, so there’s that as well.
Currently, I’m travelling in Alaska with my parents, before I have to head back to Madison to finalize my packing and send my things back home on the ship and everything. I’ll be spending a few more weeks in Madison before I leave for Malaysia (probably for good, unless I decide to come back for my Master’s), so I might as well enjoy the time I have left and make the most out of it.
Alright then, I will write again, soon, hopefully.
Until next time, stay awesome 🙂
Congratulations Nazu!
Thank you! 🙂
