Hi!
One of my biggest highlights of 2020 is being a part of the Bounce Back Summit by Leaderonomics. A huge thank you to Aaron from MrStingy who gifted me an all-access pass to Bounce Back Summit, which has helped me to gain better focus on my learning and growth, as well as allowing me to connect and learn from other people in the community.
On top of having access to top speakers and leaders in the world (like Jack Canfield, founder of Chicken Soup for the Soul, and Leslie Morgan, author and women’s rights advocate), a huge perk of being in the Bounce Back Summit is the year-long access to necole by Leaderonomics, an AI-powered learning platform.
So, what is necole and how does it work?
As mentioned above, necole is an AI-powered learning platform, which helps you to personalize your learning based on your own needs. necole aggregates and curates free content from the internet on a daily basis and displays them to you in a style that is easy to find and see (much like how Netflix organizes the movies and shows on their platform!).
In their ‘Library’, necole has various ‘Channels’, such as Self-Development or Leadership Development, which then break into various topics such as Project Management, Communication & Presentation, and Leading an Organisation. Based on your own personal preference and what you wish to learn more about, you can follow different topics or channels.
The content on necole is a mixture of short- and long-form articles and videos. One thing that I like is that they tell you how long it would take for you to read the article or how long the video is, which helps you to allocate your time necessarily (like if you know you only have 10 minutes to dedicate to learning in a day, you can focus on reading short articles or watch short clips).
Some contents are also in a “Pathway” format, where they include various content under the same topic. To progress through a Pathway, you have to complete the content in order. Meaning, you have to do the first one before you can unlock the next content.
You can also join various groups to connect with other people on necole!
This helps if you are really focusing on a certain area of interest (writing, HR, etc) or want content tailored for you. Some groups are open, while others are closed groups (such as the Bounce Back group that I’m in).
Track your learning and progress on necole.
Another perk of necole is that you can track all the content that you have completed over the past few months (or years). Personally, I find this very much useful, as I sometimes read an article or watch a clip, and when I want to refer back to it again after a while, I forgot to save it and can’t find it again. This way, it helps you to organize what you have consumed and documents your learning progress.
Bring necole everywhere you go!
necole is also available as a mobile app, so you can easily access the platform and learn anywhere you go. This is a great opportunity if you commute to work on public transportation, as you can use the time to read up on some articles or listen to a video clip on various topics.
Want to learn more about necole?
Do check out the Leaderonomics website to read more on necole and what you can do with the platform. The price to subscribe to necole is RM100 (for a 3-months subscription) or RM300 (for a year-long subscription).
Personally, I believe for RM300 (which is only RM25/month!), it is very much reasonable and worth the value. It helps you to really focus on your personal development in an easy way, and as well as keeping you accountable for your learning progress.
Note: I am hosting a giveaway on my Instagram to celebrate the New Year, where you can stand to win a one-year subscription to necole! The giveaway will start on Thursday, 31st December until Friday, 8th January 2021. More info can be found on my Instagram page.
Accelerate your growth and learning now!
As we move into the new year, take this opportunity to push yourself and focus on your personal development. I’m sure many of us have new year’s goals or resolutions to achieve, and one of them might be to learn a new skill or improve yourself better. necole is a great opportunity to kickstart your learning journey and keep yourself accountable, while also being inspired by other users and experts.
If you have any questions about using necole, feel free to ask them in the comments section, and I’ll be happy to share my experiences on it (however, it would be very limited so far!).
Until next time – I wish you all the best in your learning and development journey. Stay safe, stay awesome, and take care! 🙂
Great article. And I love necole too! Awesome app!
